Processing a New Exchange of Business Registration

Submittal Component List

After selecting a New Exchange of Business Submittal from your eAppoint Workbench, the Submittal Component List for the selected Submittal will display. There are two Components for a New Exchange of Business Submittal, Appointing Entity Data and DI4-545. eAppoint will display the date and time each Component was last updated, as well as the current status of each Component. Clicking on the name of a Component will display the screens required to complete it. Both Components must be complete before eAppoint can further process the Submittal. Notice in the sample Submittal Component List for a New Exchange of Business Submittal shown below that the Review this Submittal & Pay &Submit buttons are disabled, preventing you from submitting an incomplete submittal.

Clicking Return to Workbench will return you to your eAppoint Workbench.

After you have successfully completed both Components for a New Exchange of Business Submittal and return to the Submittal Component List, it will display as shown below. Notice that the Review this Submittal and Pay &Submit buttons are now enabled.

 

Clicking Review this Submittal will display the Review Filing Screen.

 

Clicking Pay & Submit will begin the eAppoint Payment Wizard.

Appointing Entity Verification Component (Appointing Entity Data)

Selecting the Appointing Entity Data hyperlink from the New Exchange of Business Component List will display the below screen for your verification. Once you have verified that the data eAppoint has displayed is correct, click Return to Component List to complete this Component.

Clicking Return to Component List completes the Appointing Entity Data Component and returns you to the Component List.

DI4-545 Component

eAppoint provides the DI4-545 Component for you to enter the required information for new exchange of business registrations. The DI4-545 Component hyperlink will not be enabled until you have completed the Appointing Entity Data Component. When you click on the DI4-545 Component hyperlink, eAppoint will display the License Number Screen shown below.

 

License Number Screen

You will need the Licensee's License Number in order to continue with the new exchange of business registration process. Once you have entered a Licensee's License Number in the field eAppoint provides, you should click Continue to retrieve the Licensee's information.

 

Clicking Return to Component List will return you to the Submittal Component List Screen.

 

Clicking Continue after entering a license number will display the Licensee Details Screen shown below.

Licensee Details Screen

eAppoint displays the Licensee Details Screen, shown below, once it has identified the Licensee you indicated on the previous screen. The Licensee Details Screen includes four distinct sections of information. The first section consists of the Licensee's License Number, Name, SSN or FEIN, and Business Address. The second section lists the Licensee's valid licenses. The remaining two sections list the active appointments and exchange of business registrations with your company/entity. If eAppoint has found the correct Licensee and you have reviewed the information displayed on the Licensee Details Screen, you may proceed to the next step.

 

 

Clicking Return to Component List will return you to the Submittal Component List Screen.

 

Clicking Choose another Licensee will return you to the License Number Screen to enter a different License Number.

 

Clicking Continue will display the TYCL of the appointment Screen.

Registration Date Screen

Once you have selected a Licensee, eAppoint will display the Registration Date Screen shown below for you to indicate that effective registration date.

 

Clicking Return to Component List will return you to the Submittal Component List Screen.

 

Clicking Continue will display the next New Exchange of Business Registration Screen.

New Registration Created Screen

Once eAppoint has successfully added the New Exchange of Business Registration to the Submittal, the below screen will display. From this screen you can either return to the Component List and proceed to the eAppoint Payment Wizard or you may select to add another registration to the submittal. If the Licensee could not be registered, eAppoint would display a screen informing you of the reason the registration could not be completed.

 

Clicking Return to Component List will return you to the Submittal Component List Screen.

 

Clicking Add another Registration will return you to the License Number Screen.
